Anton’s Cleaners, Inc. has a long tradition of commitment not only to its customers but to the community, embodied in its Coats for Kids and Belle of the Ball programs.

Every girl deserves a chance to look beautiful on prom night

Anton’s Cleaners is devoted to making a teenage dream a reality. Belle of the Ball collects, cleans and distributes gently worn prom dresses and provides related accessories at no charge to high school junior and senior girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom. The program has grown to hosting more than 400 young ladies for an indulgent day of prom “shopping,” beauty tips, and prizes.

At its core, Belle of the Ball is a powerful personal experience for each young woman who attends. Participants have reflected that it was a wonderful experience not because of how they looked in their dress, but because of the positive change in the way they felt about themselves.

The mission of Coats for Kids is simple:
“Anyone in
need of a coat
will have one.”

Coats for Kids

Each fall, Anton’s Cleaners collects and cleans over 60,000 coats for children and adults and distributes them free of charge through social service agencies to those in need within the community. Over the past 18 years, more than 800,000 adult and children’s coats have been collected and cleaned at no charge by Anton’s Cleaners. Coats for Kids has become a true community event, attracting hundreds of participating schools, businesses and local organizations.
